臧克家，著名诗人、散文家。1905年生，山东诸城人。1933年，处女诗集《烙印》问世，至今已出版诗歌、散文、小说、文学评论及随笔等著作七十余部。主要著作：诗集《烙印》、《罪恶的黑手》、《运河》、《泥土的歌》、《生命的零度》、《臧克家诗选》、《臧克家旧体诗稿》等。建国后，曾任中国作家协会书记处书记，《诗刊》主编；当选为全国人大代表，全国政协常委等。现任中国作协名誉副主席，中国文联名誉委员，中国诗歌学会会长等职。

 Zang Kejia, a celebrated poet and prose writer, native of Zhucheng, Shandong, was born in 1905. In 1933, his maiden collection The Brand was published. So far, he has published over 70 books of poems, prose-writings, novels, literary criticisms and jottings. He is the author of The Brand, The Evil Black Hand, The Canal, The Songs of the Earth, The Zero Degree of Life, Selected Poems of Zang Kejia and The Classical Poems of Zang Kejia ----- A Draft, etc. After the establishment of New China, he was secretary at the Secretariat of Chinese Writers’ Association, editor-in-chief of The Poetry Journal; he was elected representative of NPC and a member of the standing committee of CPPCC. He is now an honorary vice president of Chinese Writers’ Association, an honorary member of the United Committee of Literary Federation and president of Chinese Poetry Association, etc.
