犁青主编  中英对照

傅天虹，祖籍安徽，1947年出生于南京。八十年代初来香港。香港广大学院文学士，美国世界文化艺术学院人文学博士。为了打破两岸三地的文化封闭状态，他以诗会友，以文会友，创办《当代诗坛》杂志，现任主编，创立“当代诗学会”，任会长，兼任《文学报》副总编辑，创办出版机构，近期进一步创立国际炎黄文化研究会，创立“龙文化金奖”，他二十年如一日，历经劫难，不屈不挠，为促进诗坛及民族文化的沟通和交流，作出了历史性的贡献。

傅天虹自幼酷爱诗，至今已成诗4千余首，结集近20部，多次获奖。他的活动和创作，大陆版的《中国文学通史》、香港版的《香港文学史》等多部辞书，均有专节介绍。

目前，为打破中外诗坛的隔阂，他继出版“世界华文诗库”外，现又联请中外诗坛名家，开展中英对照的“中外现代诗名家集萃”，诗学工程，首批诗集已于新千年的八月问世。他艰苦奋斗，活跃并享誉诗坛内外，是一位著名的诗人、出版家和社会活动家。

Originated from Anhui, Mr. Fu Tianhong was born in 1947 in Nanjing. After settling down in Hong Kong in the early 80’s, he established and became the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Contemporary Poetry Circle”, to break through the blockade of the culture of the three places of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has set up “Society of Contemporary Poetry”, and has been elected Chairman, and concurrently has worked as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Literary Gazette. He also endeavours to set up publishing institutions. Recently he went further to organize the Institute of Yan-Huang Culture International, and formulated “Gold Prize of Dragon Culture”.All through the twenty years, he has made historical contribution to the poetry circle, the communication and exchanges of cultures, and gone through arduous struggles and hardships.

Ever since boyhood, Fu Tianhong has had great love of poetry. Up to the present he has written over four thousand poems, collected in almost twenty anthologies, and he has won prizes several times. His activities and creation have been covered in special columns by voluminous books like “General History of Chinese Literature” edited and published in China, and “Hong Kong History of Literature” published in Hong Kong.

At present, after publishing “Treasury of World Chinese Poetry”, he has engaged in the poetics engineering of “Collection of Selected Works of Chinese and Foreign Modern Poets”, Chinese-English version, working in collaboration with famous poets domestic and foreign. The first edition of the selected works of 20 poets will be published in August of the new millenium.

He works and strives hard in his activities and enjoys reputation both in the poetry circle and outside. He is now a famous poet. publisher, and social activist.
