李小雨,女,河北丰润县人,1951年10月出生。曾经插过队,当过兵,北京大学中文系毕业。1976年到中国作协诗刊社当编辑,现任《诗刊》社副主编。为中国作协会员,中国诗歌学会副秘书长。1972年开始诗歌创作,出版《雁翎歌》、《红纱巾》、《东方之光》、《玫瑰谷》、《声音的雕像》等六本诗集,其中《红纱巾》获1988年第三届全国优秀新诗集奖,作品被译为英、法、日、意等语言。
Li Xiaoyu, native of Fengrun County, Hebei Province, was born in Oct., 1951. She was assigned to work in the countryside as an educated youth, and later joined the army. She was graduated from Beijing University. In 1976, she worked as an editor in the Poetry Journal under the Chinese Writers’ Association, and is now deputy editor-in-chief of the Poetry Journal. She is a member of the Chinese Writers’ Association and vice secretary general of the Chinese Poetry Institute. She began writing poems in 1972, and published six poem collections such as Songs of Swans Feathers, The Red Gauze Kerchief, The Light from the East, The Valley of Roses, and The Statue of Sound.Among them, The Red Gauze Kerchief won the third national prize of worthy collections of poems in 1988. Part of her works has been translated into English, French, Japanese and Italian.
