吉狄马加（1961——）彝族，中国四川省凉山彝族自治州人，现任中国作家协会书记处书记。中华全国青年联合会副主席。十届全国政协委员。

中国当代著名的少数民族代表性诗人之一。已出版诗集《初恋的歌》（1985年）、《一个彝人的梦想》（1990年）、《罗马的太阳》（1991年）、《吉狄马加诗选译》（1992年）、《吉狄马加诗选》（1992年）、《遗忘的词》（1998年）。多次荣获中国国家文学奖，其中诗集《初恋的歌》获中国第三届诗歌（诗集）奖；组诗《自画像及其它》获中国第二届民族文学诗歌奖最高奖；组诗《吉狄马加诗十二首》获中国四川省文学奖；诗集《一个彝人的梦想》获中国第四届民族文学诗歌奖；1994年获庄重文文学奖。他的诗作被翻译成英文、法文、意大利文、日文、西班牙文、罗马尼亚文等，引起国际诗坛的关注。曾多次率中国作家代表团和中国青年代表团参加国际活动。

Jidi Maja (1961—              ), Yi nationality, a native of the Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China. At present he is secretary of the Secretariat of Chinese Writers Association, vice-president of All-China Youth Federation and member of the tenth CPPCC.He is one of the famous contemporary representative poets of the minority nationalities of China. His major collections of poems are: The Song of The First Love (1985); The Dream of a Yi Native (1990); The Sun of Rome (1991); Selected Translations of Jidi Maja’s Poems (1992); Selected Poems by Jidi Maja (1992) and The Forgotten Words (1998). He has had the honor many times to win china state prize for Literature such as, the 3rd Chinese Poetry Prize (for his collection of poems The Song of The First Love), the top award to poetry of the 2nd Prize for Minority Nationality Literature (for his poem-series A Self-Portrait and Something Else), Sichuan province Prize for Literature (for his poem-series Twelve Poems of Jidi Maja), the award to poetry of the 4th Prize for Minority Nationality Literature (For The Dream of a Yi Native) and Zhuang Zhong Wen Prize For Literature (in 1994). His poetry has drawn world-wide attention and many of his poems have been translated into English, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Romanian and so on. He has led Chinese Writers deputation and China Youth deputation to take part in some international activities many times.
